No, they close around 3.
Hi Abdulrhman, Thank you for reaching out. We do not have a buffet. We have 14 different combination options to chose from that we serve ourselves. All combinations include rice, bread, and any one or two curries of your choosing. Would love to have you come in and see what we have to offer. Hope I was able to answer your question. Look forward to your visit to Cafe Zum Zum.
Overall pretty poor. The place was very cramped and not very clean. The chicken curry was very oily and the rice was overcooked and mushy. The garlic naan was cooked on a grill not in a tandori. For the price it was not worth it. It was quick, but that's the only positive.
Just had Chicken curry there. Food tasted fine but when I discovered a three inch long piece of twisted cellophane in the sauce I lost my appetite. I figured the restaurant would want to know so I took it along with the barely touched meal to the counter. I handed the plate to the gentleman at the cash register and explained what was in my food. He took the cellophane and examined it and then all he said was “oh sorry about that.†Then he turned to the next customer in line.
Overcooked rice lackluster flavor and the "naan" was a store brand flour tortilla. If you are looking for good curry pass on this place especially if you like it spicy.
Clean cooking area. Food is kept hot. Tried the spinach and chicken curry. While not the style I'm used to, it was very robust. The spinach shines more than the chicken. They also have vegetarian curry. Served with a rich grilled tortilla I also tried the naan bread. An overall warming meal. Clean friendly atmosphere. The banana pepper and roasted tomatoe mix adds a good kick.
Great food and fast service!
Awesome food! Friendly staff! Vibes/atmosphere is great. You can never go wrong with Cafe Zum Zum.
Great cheap eat. The owner is very friendly. He gave me a sampler before I decided what to order!
Good food, usually fast service
A go-to lunch spot! Sometimes the line can get long but it moves very quickly. Seating inside is tight, but if it is nice out there a courtyard with more tables and chairs.
Great, well-priced lunch with tons of food.
it was the worst restuarant i have ever seen and i will never ever come back again and will not recomend to anyone of my freinds
This is my favorite place to get some seekh kebab! Of course, get beef or don't get anything, it's the best!! The garlic naan is delicious when warm, so don't get it to go unless you live close by (like me). The service is nice and very friendly!
This place is classic. It's the curry in a hurry of Seattle. They have limited, steady but enough options to choose from. It is better to get to go if you are in a large group. Their seating is limited. The queue at lunch time extends outside the door. Great add-ons, great Punjabi-pop playlist and fantastic staff. Keep it up ya'll!
Great lunch spot, get half and half so you can experience two dishes. Good veg options
No frill place for decent indian food.
Great food.
Excellent can be a bit of a wait but you can order ahead to avoid the line.
Very affordable and good food.
Cant beat the price for their daily specials. A fantastic lunch spot. Their other options don't seem like as good a value (hence, special) but I'm keeping it 5 stars since, why would I ever need anything but?
Food is very salty and it seemed like spices were added very sparingly. They give an option to mix different curries (chicken +lamb, etc). Curry comes with rice and a roti.
Was visiting from Vancouver and came across this place through Google. What an amazing taste and great service! Keep the good work up, Shwan!
Everything is good - veg, chicken or lamb - can't go wrong. They'll do combos for you if you want to mix & match. The green sauce is a nice, fresh addition to any meal
Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Overall fantastic place!
Good food fast. Always a line out the door at lunch time. Vegetarian options. Not too spicy
I’ve tried vegetarian daily special. It was very tasty and good choice for a healthy lunch.
I like customer service here and tasty food.
Big portions of food, affordable and filling. The food tastes fine, most of the time it tastes salty and funny, not particularly bad. But, one of the affordable places around 3rd street and Madison street.
Great food, great prices , authentic food
One of my favorite places. Cheap, good, and plentiful. What more can you ask for? I also don't think there is another restaurant in town serving this food. My favorite is the lamb and spinach curry. You can mix and match if you want, so try two. Don't forget to ask for the green sauce at the register (yum). Try the hit green mangos by the forks, but beware. It is super hot. Also weird. Definitely some thing to experience at least once, though.
Very tasty and I thought the service excellent considering it's a fast food restaurant.I look forward to trying the daily specials in the future. My recent meal consisted of a curry with chicken and spinach and a serving of curried red beans with potatoes. Spiced excellently and very very tasty.Warning: Not-NAAN! Ha ha... flour tortillas are given with the meals however some tasty naan is available for a little more $$. I wonder if they would provide corn tortillas for the asking...
A great Indian |Pakistani place for lunch, usually there is a long line, sometimes even outside the restaurant.Service was fast, I was able to look at the options & point at what I need & there were able to pour my curry / side of choice over some Indian spiced rice with chickpea on it. I was actually craving for some Indian dal, & my colleague read my mind & took me here. I opted for some hot dal over rice, & managed to find a place to sit as well. The dal was beautifully cooked with balanced spices, not too hot & not too bland. I must admit that it’s not the best, but maybe best among the rest in Seattle. The spiced rice was good too, mimicking a Biriyani albeit a vegetarian one.I am curious to try their meat options, sometime soon, before my Seattle trip ends, in a week.
Absolutely delicious food!!! The people here make the food with love and you can taste the difference. Very authentic Pakistani taste with the same home like feeling. Absolutely affordable price, especially for halal food. Did not regret one bit eating here. The serving size is enough for one person, i was full and then some more.
Good food but the smell of restaurant is little strange
I had the vegetarian lunch special, it came with my choice of two (out of six) different vegetarian dishes and served vegetable rice and a side of bread. Extremely generous portions! All this with a soft drink for under... $7.00! We eatin’ for 90s prices baby! Food was delicious. Also, everyone was really nice, even when I kept asking “what’s that?†over and over. Like Arnold, I’ll be back.
Don't try to eat lamb kheema since he gives only peas instead of lamb kheema
Lunch specials are very affordable. Portions are big. The owner seems to remember everyone who comes in. Delicious
Very flavorful food with enough for two servings!
The $6.59 Friday special for vegetarian curry, rice and a drink is probably the best (and cheapest) lunch you'll find in Seattle.
The food is VERY oily and price-wise yes it’s cheap (so is the quality). Poor service and very rude behavior to customers by the server. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Best food was available here with amazing ambiance and atmosphere. I had tried a lot many this of this place and they are just superb. Staff were nice.
Vegetarian options are great
Outstanding vegan food. Love these curries.
This place is amazing. I eat here more than is probably normal. The flavors are rich and varied. The portions are healthy (as in, plentiful. not as in, good for your diet.) There's a wonderful spectrum of protein to choose from, including vegetarian. And there's always a daily special (vegetarian) which comes with a drink. A really good value considering it's downtown Seattle. I usually get the Beef Special, comes with a drink or the Lamb Curry, also come with a drink, if that drink is water! Such savory lamb.... Also, whatever you get, don't miss the pickle. It's so good. Mind melting good. It's in a container on the bar, by the forks and whatnot. I could just sit and eat that. The line might look long, but do not worry. This place is a machine! You will have your food in no time. Unless someone can't order properly, but that's a different story. Great food, great prices and really great people.I â¤ï¸ Zum Zum
Small little place great for a quick meal
Best place to dine in the downtown area of seattle.
Best lunch place around. Fast friendly and the food is authentic.
Pricey, but you can get affordable daily specials. Too spicy for me. There's always a line.
The food is great and price is right!
I hadnt eaten Indian food before, and had heard this place was so delicious although a bit pricey. I wasnt impressed.
I love this place for a quick satisfying lunch.
